Sex in the City is always our favourite title when we play charades so we always think of Cosmopolitans at Christmas. The Cosmo is made in a similar way to the Martini but this time it is shaken. Remember to chill your glasses beforehand.

2 parts vodka
1 part cranberry juice
½ part lime juice
½ part Cointreau
Orange rind to twist
Cold glasses
How to make it
Add ice to your mixing jug. Add the vodka, juices and Cointreau, then shake until the shaker is cold.
Strain into your cold glasses and twist an orange rind over the drink for extra festive orangeyness.
